ABOUT THIS JOB:
The Sales Database Intern will assist the sales team by providing support in managing and analyzing the company's sales database. The intern will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and organization of sales data while helping the team optimize sales strategies and performance through data-driven insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Input, update, and maintain sales data in the company’s database or CRM system
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data entries by performing regular data quality checks
- Support the team in cleaning and organizing data to improve reporting efficiency
- Assist in generating weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports
- Conduct basic analysis of sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
- Help in creating dashboards or visualizations to present key sales metrics to the sales team
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and extract relevant data to support ongoing sales initiatives
- Assist in tracking and reporting sales performance against targets and KPIs
- Help the team with the preparation of sales forecasts and projections based on historical data
- Provide suggestions for improving database management and reporting processes
- Support efforts to automate manual processes for data entry, reporting, and analysis
- Gain hands-on experience with sales and data management tools (e.g. HubSpot, SalesForce, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite)

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
- $14.00-16.00/hour, depending on experience
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) or other sales-related databases
- Familiarity with basic database management and data entry
- Knowledge of GoogleSuite applications (GoogleSlides, GoogleSheets, GoogleDocs)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

SCHEDULE:
- 15-25 hours/per week

WORK SPACE INFO:
This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.
TRAINING:
Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.
SAFETY:
Namify enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
