THIS JOB:

The Shirt Press Specialist is responsible for quality checking products and ensuring quantities match on client orders. This individual will read proofs and ensure that all specs are met after printing and during the packaging of product for Namify’s clients. The job is fast paced and challenging. This position is an entry level position with heavy training. This individual must be able to manage their own time, take direction effectively, function as a team player, and have a high desire to learn and improve processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILIES:

• Double check logos (color, placement, and quality)
• Package neatly and with correct corresponding order label
• Create minimal waste
• Function in a fast-paced environment
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Assist machine operators with with maintaining constant machine operation
• Handle efficiently iPads and computers
• Follow standard processes set for each task
• Manage time efficiently
• Meet goals for each process assigned
• Work with management professionally to maintain quality and efficiency
• Ensure that all waste is reported accurately
• Communicate with other departments to meet customers’ needs
• Accept and apply feedback given by management and peers
• Learn multiple roles in the apparel line

Requirements

JOB SKILLS:

• Awareness of warehouse environment. Able to Speak Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to read and comprehend English instructions on work orders.
• Must have good tactile ability with hands and hand eye coordination.
• Must have great attention to detail, even with repetitive processes.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Must be able to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to work under deadlines and quotas.
• Be able to work in a team environment and alone.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
• Able to work in a standing position for 6 hours a day.
• High School degree preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to use computers.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (Full-time)

WORK SPACE INFO:

This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.

TRAINING:

Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.

SAFETY:

Namify enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
