What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nanny/Family Assistant position at Nanny Heroes Agency?
Welcoming Shrewsbury Family seeking a Nanny/Family Assistant for G7 and B5. Care is neededfrom 1PM-6PM, Monday through Friday beginning ~May 1st. Flexibility for 8AM-6PM for school closures/sick days is required.
Responsibilities:
-All daily care tasks related to G7 and B5
-Transportation from school/camp/activities
- Outdoor time & activities (local park, library, crafts, etc)
- Family laundry
-Family dinner prep, kid’s lunch/snack prep
-Light tidying/organization
-Grocery shopping & errands as needed
-Encouraging children to participate in household tasks (tidying toys, clearing plates, etc.)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1PM-6PM; 8AM-6PM on days school is closed or children are home sick. Hours to stay the same throughout the year.
School pick-up ~3:30/4; Camp bus drop-off ~4/4:30
*IF CANDIDATE HAS HOUSEKEEPING EXPERIENCE, Family is open to expanding hours and adding full housekeeping for their 3 Bed 2.5 Bath residence.*
Family/Household Notes:
-Family car will be available for transportation of the children and household errands
-Mom and Dad occasionally work from home and have their designated workspace
-Family’s Christian/Catholic faith is important to them
-Children get an hour of TV time

-Has good judgement and strong morals
-Strong communicator and self-starter
-Cognizant of ingredients while food shopping (Mom can help guide, if not familiar)
Compensation:
- Hourly salary commensurate with experience

Requirements:
- 3 years of childcare/household experience
- Eligible to work in the US
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record and criminal background
- Fluent English
- CPR/First Aid Certified
