Babysitter/Nanny

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and a passion for educating and engaging young minds. This role involves caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Duties

• Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their needs are met with patience and kindness.
• Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and children's rooms.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, reading sessions, and outdoor play.
• Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to encourage positive social interactions.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in childcare or caregiving, particularly with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Knowledge of child development principles and the ability to educate through play.
• Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for children.
• Ability to maintain a clean environment while caring for children.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively.
• A nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with children.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
