About the role:

The Controller is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, inventory costing, and forecasting. The Controller ensures compliance with accounting standards and government regulations. They establish internal controls, manage cash flow, and coordinate audits while providing in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Controller leads the accounting team and collaborates with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.

What you will do:

  • Financial Oversight: Manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and government regulations. This includes overseeing the preparation of comparative financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and other comprehensive income statement.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. Regularly review and update policies to mitigate risks.
  • Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Close: Lead and participate in the accounting close process. Ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
  • Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit process. Prepare necessary documentation and ensure timely completion of audits and audited financial statements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws and standards. Prepare and file necessary reports with regulatory agencies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company can meet its financial obligations. Develop strategies to optimize cash management and investment opportunities.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting to senior management, develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends. Support strategic decision-making with actionable insights.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and collaboratively mentor the growing accounting team
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights that support operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.


What we are looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; active CPA license required.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with 4 years in a managerial role. Prefer 4 years in semi-conductor or other capital equipment manufacturing experience.
  • Regulation Experience: Strong knowledge of payroll, banking, and other corporate compliance in Oregon and other states.
  • Accounting and Business Tools: Proficient in US GAAP. Proficient with large scale ERP systems, NetSuite preferred. Ability to leverage modern reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
