JOB SUMMARY
NOC is looking for an individual that is passionate about selling outdoor adventure experiences to our groups and guests! In this position, you will be responsible for booking and managing NOC’s group accounts and bookings. You will work with group leaders (churches, camps, Boy Scouts / Girls Scouts, universities, schools, friends, families) to help them identify which NOC activities will be best for their groups. You will then be responsible for managing everything between the initial contact with the group up until they arrive for their activity as well as trip follow-up.
The Seasonal Group Sales Representative position is a seasonal position and reports to the Sales Director. We are looking for this position to start in April and it has an anticipated end date of mid to late September. The anticipated end date could be pushed back or moved forward due to business demands. The position will be paid an hourly wage commission with the schedule generally being M-F - 40hrs / week. Some weekend or evening work may be required.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales for all NOC properties, assets, attractions and activities equaling or exceeding assigned sales budgets by booking and managing NOC’s Group and Custom accounts and reservations
- Maintain existing group business by excelling in customer follow-up while also developing new custom group business through prospecting and cold calls
- Gain a thorough knowledge of NOC customer channels, relationships, and product line up
- Assure prompt response to all sales inquiries
- Collect deposit and balance payments in a timely fashion per the NOC group payment policy
- Collaborate with all NOC departments to ensure that all groups are attended to appropriately embrace all technology platforms necessary to book group reservations and track sales
- Support NOC’s Guest Relations Office as needed
- Other duties as assigned
