JOB SUMMARY
Come join NOC in an exciting key role as the Recruiter! This position is very dynamic and comes with a high level of responsibility and accountability, but also the freedom to make decisions and impact positive organizational change. This role is responsible for overseeing all recruiting efforts, managing the candidate experience, and supporting NOC's Guide School. Ideal applicants have a passion for the outdoors, are excited about growing the NOC team, have a strong attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.
This position reports to the HR manager and is a full-time, benefits eligible position. In general, this is a 40 hour/week position however, during peak recruiting season (November - May), overtime may be necessary to complete all functions of this position.
Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring
- Screen, Interview and hire all NOC employees
- Develop staffing plan in coordination with hiring managers
- Assist and train hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process
- Coordinate all processes associated with interviewing and hiring employees
- Manage NOC's international hiring program
- Work with HR Manager to plan and conduct weekly New Hire Orientations
- Develop and maintain working relationships with universities and colleges
- Set expectations for timely and effective communication with all applicants and hiring managers
- Assist HR Director with other aspects of the hiring processes
- Develop and manage all KPI goals
- Schedule, coordinate and attend relevant regional job fairs using effective tactics for attracting talent
Administrative
- Serve as Account Administrator for NOC's talent acquisition software
- Ensure brand standard consistency across all applicable recruiting platforms
- Gather content and publish a seasonal bi-weekly NOC newsletter
- Coordinate and help plan staff events
- Provide feedback to hiring managers in regards to job descriptions, revise as necessary to create consistency
- Post open positions in all appropriate and relevant channels that are utilized by NOC Recruiting
- Work in conjunction with marketing to create recruiting materials (ie. flyers, hand-outs, rack cards and recruiting swag)
- Manage and respond to all email communication from applicants

Qualifications
Required
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Experience with MS Office programs
Preferred
- Four year college degree
- Previous Recruiting experience
- Experience with Outdoor Industry culture
- Previous experience with ADP or other talent acquisition and time and attendance software

Physical Demands and Environment
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Must be comfortable sitting for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and climb ladders
- Must be comfortable working in an indoor office environment
- Must be willing and able to participate in the Guide School program as necessary to the hiring process
- Must be adaptive and reactive to changes in technology and use of new programs
