Job Description :

NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Graphic Designer to assist the government with the following tasks :

Primary Responsibilities :

Develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high-quality customer support for communication requests.
Coordinates with UI / UX designer in Knowledge Management to ensure graphic products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.
Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online.
Ensures products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances.
Conducts technical quality checks.
Manages an approved concept and builds in HTML / CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.
Provides cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps.

Experience Required :

Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.

Front-end web design, UI / UX, HTML / CSS.

Photography and video editing.

Mentoring and training junior staff.

Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.

Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.

Developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.

Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances.

Conducting technical quality checks.

Required Education and Experience :

BA / BS and 5 years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience. Required

A work portfolio of experience is required (this is in addition to candidate resume).

TS / SCI with Polygraph level clearance required .
