Job Description
NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Graphic Designer to assist the government with the following task:
Primary Responsibilities
- Develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
- Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests.
- Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphic products provide an engaging and user friendly experience.
- Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
- Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other type of digital content that will be presented online.
- Ensures products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibilities compliance requirements, public release clearances.
- Conducts technical quality checks.
- Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.
- Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps.
- Experience with the following:
- Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other
- Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
- Photography and video editing
- Mentoring and trains junior staff
- Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user friendly experience
- Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
- Developing design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile
types of digital content presented online
- Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws,
- Conducting technical quality checks
- BA/BS and 5 years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience. Required
- **A work portfolio of experience is required. (this is in addition to candidate resume)**
- TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required.
