NAPA Auto Parts (Miller Auto Supply) is seeking an experienced Automotive Counter Person who truly cares about providing outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone in person or over the phone. In this role you are looked at as the “face of the retail store” and the go-to person as soon as our customers enter our retail stores.
- Never work past 6PM (Our stores close so employees can enjoy more time at home)
- Never work another Sunday (We are CLOSED on Sundays)
- Consistent and set schedules make it easy to know when you will be working
- We cover 100% of monthly insurance premiums for Full-Time employees (That adds up to over $4/hour extra on top of your already competitive pay)
Job Description
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism to all store customers
- Assist both retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person, via the telephone, or through online ordering
- Handle cash, credit card, and other purchasing transactions
- Operate the store point of sale system to search for parts and customer accounts, and to invoice and pull orders
- Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
- Ability to work until 6:00pm and rotating Saturdays
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or other automotive knowledge
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work rotating Saturdays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a parts store or within the automotive industry
- Background and/or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine or dealership
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
