What are the responsibilities and job description for the NAPA Automotive Parts Store Manager position at NAPA Auto Parts?
Store Managers at Raps Auto Parts Supply are primarily responsible for sales and the gross profit of those sales. Also oversees all functions of store operations, which include personnel, inventory, payroll, fleet maintenance and all customer service related areas. Sources stock, sells and coordinates deliveries of auto parts to local installers and other potential sellers of parts.
Responsibilities:
· Managing the daily operations of the store opening and closing.
· Dispatching and management of all Delivery Drivers
· Responsible for the Daily Deposits
· Identifying new customers and revenue opportunities for the store
· Shifting into high gear in a fast-paced retail store environment
· Helping outside sales in identifying, developing and maintaining wholesale accounts
· Complete daily paperwork to office in a timely manner
· Building, guiding and developing an engaged crew team to deliver checkered flag levels of customer care and business results
· Steering towards continuous improvement in processes and procedures
· Protecting and maintaining the security of store assets
· Create work schedules for employees on a weekly basis
· Support and enforce all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
· Displaying pride in navigating a store recognized for safety and appearance
· Required to participate in Company sponsored trainings
Qualifications:
· Demonstrate strong managerial skills. Results driven, highly energetic, goal oriented, self-motivated who can also motivate others, have a positive team-player attitude.
· Ability to work in a multi-task and fast paced environment. Excellent selling skills as well as communication leadership and exceptional interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to details. Highly developed decision-making and problem resolution skills as well as a sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
· High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or college degree is a plus
· ASE (P2) parts certification preferred
· Experience in heavy parts and service, or paint is a plus
· Passion for delivering customer care and building long term relationships
· Knowledge of inventory controls, stocking levels and seasonal shifts is a plus
· Must be at least 21 years old, licensed for at least 3 years; and have an acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements:
· Capable of lifting and moving items of up to 60 pounds.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Stamina to stand and walk for entire work shift
- Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.
