What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the preparation of pastries, breads, and desserts for service.
- Follow precise recipes and techniques to maintain quality and consistency.
- Work with doughs, batters, custards, and chocolate, ensuring proper textures and flavors.
- Plating and garnishing desserts to meet restaurant presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the culinary team to ensure seamless service.
- Support pastry chefs in menu development, seasonal adjustments, and new techniques.

- Previous pastry experience preferred, but we are willing to train passionate and motivated candidates.
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, baking principles, and ingredient functions.
- Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and with great attention to detail.

Requirements:Pastry Assistant Job Requirements:
- Must be able to accurately weigh, sift, measure, and mix baking ingredients.
- Be able to adhere to recipes.
- Must be knowledgeable in bread and standard pastry items such as: ice creams, cakes, chocolate, and various pastry techniques.
- Must have at least 3 years of pastry experience.
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
- Must have basic bakery skills and a good understanding of bakery terminology, as well as baker's math.
- Ability to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload.
- Ability to interact in a team based environment.
- Ability to complete orders quickly.
- ServSafe is a plus, as well as previous experience in a high-volume bakery or restaurant setting.
