Position Overview:
The General Manager role is responsible for supervising and controlling all strategic and business aspects of the company. The position is first in command for the clinic operations and is responsible for providing proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success in alignment with NAPA Center Inc. It is expected that this person will be able to complete all of the below responsibilities with little or no supervision required.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of leadership experience, including business operations and management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Prudent manager and inspiring leader
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to see the ‘big picture’

Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
- Lead and motivate employees to enhance engagement and develop a high performing managerial team.
- Working with the administration team to ensure that parents have their needs addressed in a timely, professional and courteous manner, directing them to the best form of therapy to suit their child’s needs.
- Driving the success and productivity of the overall clinic ensuring that revenue is being grown in a profitable way, whilst the integrity of therapy is being maintained. Explore all opportunities to grow clinic revenue.
- Work with the management team to ensure the therapists schedules are being well managed and that a proper balance exists between the intensive and weekly schedules.
- Localized human resources requirements including payroll, workplace relations, compliance, recruitment and performance management.
- Full management of the clinic’s financial commitments and expenditure budgets, ensuring adherence to all payment deadlines and the management of cash flow to ensure business survival.
- Management of clinic’s accounts receivables ensuring strategies are in place to minimize or control outstanding debts.
- General operational control of the business including all compliance, legal, insurance and statutory requirements.
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
- Full overview of the industry including research, therapy disciplines, insurance and other forms of payment, competition and developments in the pediatric and disabilities therapy sectors.
- Create, analyze, and present financial and non-financial reports to board of directors as required in an accurate and timely manner.
- Management of all supporting roles to ensure daily, weekly and intensive based tasks are being completed and the clinic presents in a professional manner.
- Act in accordance with all company, legal and industry policies and ethics.
- Comply with all professional development requirements and training assigned.
- Work in a healthy, safe manner and encourage others to do the same.
