Responsibilities - Auto Dealership Controller:

• Supports the entire accounting function and financial reporting for our dealership and more.
• Prepares a complete financial statement monthly
• Ensures that all manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, and more are current and accurate.
• Maintains an effective cash management system that forecasts cash funds and makes recommendations for the profitable use of excess cash.
• Direct assessment of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
• Reviews the general ledger and scheduled accounts.
• Reviews the reconciliation of general ledger accounts with outside sources to ensure proper bank reconciliation, reserve accounts, factory payables, and floor plan payables.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable government finance regulations, including filing and/or maintaining required forms, payroll taxes and deposits, income taxes, retirement plan records, etc.

Qualifications - Auto Dealership Controller:

• Proven long term Controller work history is required
• Automotive Dealership background required
• Computer proficient with good communications skills
• The highest integrity and professionalism are essential for consideration.
