Job Summary:
The Medical Training Program Manager at NAR Training is responsible for leading and managing all medical training programs, including EMS, advanced life support, and specialized medical courses. This role ensures the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs that meet national and state standards, while fostering partnerships and upholding NAR Training’s reputation for educational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all medical training programs (e.g., EMT, AEMT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, tactical medicine), ensuring alignment with national standards and program objectives.
- Develop and update curricula, incorporating the latest medical practices and compliance requirements.
- Recruit, train, and supervise instructors, maintaining certification and performance standards.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements and submit necessary documentation.
- Manage program budgets and align financial operations with organizational goals.
- Foster partnerships with medical facilities, EMS agencies, and community organizations to support training opportunities.
- Oversee student recruitment, progress monitoring, and support to achieve certification success.
- Manage clinical agreements and rotations, ensuring robust hands-on training experiences.
- Maintain and operate the Advanced Skills Lab, integrating high-fidelity simulations into training.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, education, or management-related field.
- Current certifications in medical education and training (e.g., NAEMT and AHA).
- Minimum 2 of experience managing medical training programs or equivalent experience in a healthcare education setting.
Skills and Abilities:
- Leadership and organizational expertise, with a focus on building high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of medical training standards and accreditation processes.
- Ability to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare partners and regulatory bodies.
- Financial acumen to manage program budgets effectively.
