Summary
As a Budget Analyst assigned to the Office of Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), you will provide the overall planning, integration, expertise, and analysis of budget operations as well as all aspects of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) to include the formulation, presentation, enactment and/or execution phases of the budgetary process.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Applying principles and practices of financial/budget management to assignments to ensure financial integrity and accurate reporting; Developing program or project budgets, estimating and analyzing fiscal data, and performing long range planning; Utilizing accounting system to perform financial analyses, documenting findings and making recommendations to senior leaders on fiscal/accounting operations or process improvements.
