We seek candidates that are highly motivated, have field construction and/or management experience, have strong engineering and design skills, can work on multiple tasks and projects daily, have strong written and verbal communication skills and desire to work in a fast paced but casual working environment.
The ideal candidates should also have demonstrated skills in working with other design and technical staff and be accomplished with project management and work delegation.
Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
- Site and Project Development Design: Lead the design of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and municipal projects, including stormwater management, site grading, utilities, and erosion and sediment control.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion. Coordinate with design and technical staff, and delegate work as needed.
- Construction & Field Management: Provide guidance and oversight for field construction activities, leveraging both field experience and engineering/design expertise.
- Client Interaction & Relationship Management: Manage client communications, expectations, and project deliverables, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Permitting & Regulatory Compliance: Navigate local and state permitting processes, ensuring that all designs and projects meet relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with other engineers, design professionals, and technical staff to ensure cohesive project development and successful outcomes.
- Technical Design & Software Utilization: Utilize CAD/Civil 3D design software to develop and refine engineering designs. Ensure designs are both practical and compliant with client and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety, conducting regular reviews and audits of designs and field activities.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in stormwater management, site grading, utilities and erosion and sediment control.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution with experience in land/site development disciplines,
- A Maryland PE License is required,
- Working knowledge of CAD/Civil 3D design software,
- Project and client management experience
- Knowledge of local and state permitting processes.
