Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage invoicing, payroll, accounts receivable, and compliance processes for our government contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit compliant invoices to government agencies (WAWF/iRAPT, etc.).
- Manage payroll for employees and contractors using [e.g., Gusto or Paycor].
- Track accounts receivable and follow up on collections.
- Develop and maintain financial systems and processes to ensure compliance with FAR and DCAA regulations.
- Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal tax requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in government contracting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Costpoint, or similar accounting tools.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and DCAA compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
