Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM Developer to join our team.
This is a high-visibility role within a critical team responsible for the stability and maturity of the CMDB, Discovery, and ITOM platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, particularly in CMDB structuring, Discovery, and integrations.
This role requires Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications in ITOM or ITAM modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
- Support and enhance ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, and Asset Management modules to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Implement and manage ITOM processes, including event management, discovery, and service mapping.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide production support for ServiceNow applications.
- Review and optimize code quality, ensuring compliance with best practices and architectural standards.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on development best practices and platform capabilities.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends, proposing enhancements and optimizations.
Required Qualifications:
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow.
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in ITOM (Event Management, Discovery, or Service Mapping) or ITAM (SAM, HAM).
- Proven experience in ServiceNow development, including scripting, API integrations, and architecture.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design best practices.
- Experience with CMDB structuring, Discovery, and integrations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with business and technical teams.
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Service Mapping.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
