Team and Role Overview
Nasdaq is seeking a Presales - Technical Specialist to be team contributor in Sales Opportunities across the Americas for its Calypso line of business. The Presales Technical Specialist will be responsible for multiple aspects of the process including the management of Presales environments, preparation, set-up and execution of Technology related presentations, demos, workshops and Proof of Concepts (POCs) within specified timelines as per opportunity specific requirements to ultimately facilitate sales success in the region.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technically oriented presentations (standalone, as part of workshops or Proof of Concept) to prospects and clients on topics such as (but not limited to) system architecture, databases, software security, interfaces & integration, and SaaS.
- Deliver the value proposition and the Unique Selling Proposition of the Calypso Solution in the Initial Demos as and when required. Identify and flag product gaps for necessary prospect / client communication by Presales.
- Work with the Calypso Cloud Services team to understand and clearly convey the value proposition of the offering.
- Create and demonstrate prototypes as required as part of the presales process as per prospect requirements to show technical support.
- Provide technical insight and create content for internal go to market strategy of Calypso latest technical components.
- Assist with RFI / RFP responses from a technology perspective.
- Manage and provide support for the Americas (and global) Presales AWS infrastructure.
- High willingness to learn in the areas of new innovations and should keep abreast of relevant new Calypso features / releases.
- Maintain, augment, and improve library of reusable components, templates, checklists, presentations and processes to reduce response time and improve quality on future POCs / Demos
- Research, liaise and work with R&D & Presales and gather information to update "Presales Environments" from time to time.
