What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Event Production Assistant position at Nashville Sounds?
Event Production Assistant will support the Event Production Coordinator in a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:
· Assist with the setup and operation of the video control room before, during, and after all Nashville Sounds home games and special events at First Horizon Park
· Assist with the setup and break down of cameras and audio equipment for all Nashville Sounds home games and special events at First Horizon Park
· Assist with the maintaining of the audio/video equipment and making repairs as needed
· Assist the Director of Marketing, Creative Director, and Promotions & Entertainment Manager as needed
· Operate various control room positions during a game or special event as needed
· Assist with the editing of headshots, graphics, or other elements as needed
· Assist in loading in the elements created by the Marketing Department and Corporate Partners for Nashville Sounds games and special events
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Strong grasp of live sports TV production
· An understanding of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
· An understanding of Ross products, such as Carbonite, XPression, and Dashboard, Mira Replay, etc
· General knowledge of Sony Cameras
· General knowledge of Fujinon Lenses
· An understanding of live audio/video signal flow
· Experience in working in a live TV production environment
· Camera Utility/Grip & cable management experience
· Ability to operate a camera, audio board, replay system, video board system
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to make quick decisions
· Knowledge and understanding of the rules, statistics, history of Major League Baseball/MiLB and their teams
· Must be able to lift 30 lbs. or more
· Availability and willingness to work extended and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and be on-call for events as necessary
