What We Stand For and Where You'll Come In

We are currently hiring a well-rounded Shipping Manager to join our warehouse leadership team in Ronkonkoma, NY.

In this critical role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our shipping department, ensuring that items are accurately prepared and shipped both domestically and internationally. You will lead a team of at least ten shipping associates, leads, and supervisors, working hands-on to ensure workflows are maintained and that team success is promoted through a collaborative and proactive management style.

📦 Responsibilities

• Organize and manage daily loading dock activities to support inbound and outbound logistics
• Assign and oversee shipping schedules and order prioritization
• Ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of shipped orders
• Maintain inventory and order shipping department supplies
• Coordinate all aspects of packing drops with the packing team
• Process drop shipments for FedEx, UPS, and USPS
• Work cross-functionally with receiving to schedule and manage deliveries and pickups
• Schedule and track weekly transfer trucks; create associated Bills of Lading
• Maintain backhaul tracker and communicate daily shipping priorities
• Oversee domestic and international shipping including Canada and related customs paperwork
• Ensure compliance with routing guides and schedule outbound shipments accordingly
• Book all LTL shipments for customer orders across the U.S.
• Prepare and submit daily shipping spreadsheets and order completion records
• Provide freight quotes to Customer Service for upcoming shipments
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams for resources and support
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all outgoing orders
• Promote and enforce all safety procedures, SOPs, and company standards
• Report shipping and warehouse operations updates to management
  
  

🧰 Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting in a supervisory or management role
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and general warehouse systems
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Strong attention to detail, with a hands-on leadership style
