We are currently seeking a part-time dedicated food service supervisor to work in the fast-paced environment of Food Service. Excellent Management skills are essential. If you’re a qualified supervisor who is able to run an efficient kitchen, this is the perfect job. Paid training provided.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate the work of foodservice workers in the daily operation of a large hospital kitchen
- Organize and check the tray line during meal service
- Oversee Employee Cafeteria
- Supervise food service workers while they serve patient meals
- Inspect nursing unit pantries and other sanitation requirements
- Maintain quality assurance records and daily assignments.
We require:
- Graduation from a Dietary Managers Course or equivalent
- ServSafe certificate or food handling/sanitation certificate .
- Morning and afternoon shifts are flexible, every other weekend a requirement.
