Role: Data Scientist
Location: 3 days per week in Falls Church, Alexandria or Arlington, VA (any location is fine but must be 3 days onsite)
Duration: 1 year Contract

Required Skills/Experience
Experience writing and speaking about technical concepts to various audiences and giving data-driven presentations.
5 years of experience developing in Python and EQL; experience with Apache Spark
5 years of experience developing dashboards using Qlik or Tableau.
Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with contracting or FM data sources.
Desired Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Major Duties/Tasks
Develop and maintain dashboards according to user requirements.
Collaborate with data engineering and functional resources to build performant applications to support procurement, FM, and other communities.
Design, configure, develop, test, and support informatics and data science solutions for various technical use cases.
Apply analytical methodologies to diagnose data-related challenges, implement solutions, and evaluate performance.
Document and present requirements, design alternatives, and findings to team members and external stakeholders.
Develop strategic, baselined data modeling processes and accurately determine cause-and-effect relationships.
Utilize integrated development environments, data integration, data visualization, data mining, and analysis tools.
