Job Title: SAP ABAP Software Engineer
Location: Newport News, VA Onsite for the first 3 months
Job Type: Contract W2
Job Summary:
- Looking for SAP ABAP Software Engineers to join for an 11-month contract. The selected candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions to support business processes. These roles require expertise in SAP core modules, strong programming skills, and the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Master s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- An additional 4 years of specific job experience with a high school diploma may be substituted for the bachelor's degree requirement.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of SAP core modules.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development tools, including:
- ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary
- RFC, ABAP Query, ALE, BAPI, and BADI
- BDC, LSMW, User Exits, Menu Exits, Function Exits, and Screen Exits
- SAPscript and SmartForms
- Experience with web services, .NET development framework, JavaScript, C#, SQL, and CSS (preferred for certain projects).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
