Job Summary:
Looking for 2 SAP ABAP Software Engineers to join for an 11-month contract. The selected candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions to support business processes. These roles require expertise in SAP core modules, strong programming skills, and the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, transactions, enhancements, and conversion programs.
- Develop and customize SAP forms and screens using Adobe Forms and Adobe Fragments.
- Work with ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and Eclipse Programming Environment for code development and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments (knowledge of S/4HANA 1809 or 1909 is a plus).
- Develop Fiori applications and enhance SAP UI functionality.
- Utilize Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in ABAP for complex business logic implementations.
- Perform SAP module integration and create bidirectional system-to-system integrations for financial and business process reporting.
- Conduct unit testing using ABAP Unit and/or Worksoft to ensure solution quality and performance.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues, ensuring smooth business operations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of development activities, technical designs, and system modifications.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Master’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- An additional 4 years of specific job experience with a high school diploma may be substituted for the bachelor's degree requirement.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of SAP core modules.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development tools, including:
- ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary
- RFC, ABAP Query, ALE, BAPI, and BADI
- BDC, LSMW, User Exits, Menu Exits, Function Exits, and Screen Exits
- SAPscript and SmartForms
- Experience with web services, .NET development framework, JavaScript, C#, SQL, and CSS (preferred for certain projects).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
