Job Title: VDI/Horizon View/VMWare Engineer
Location: Must sit onsite 3 days a week in Jacksonville, FL, Kennesaw, GA or Charlotte, NC.
Job Type: Contract W2
We are looking for a Horizon View Engineer/VMWare.
Candidates must have Horizon View platform experience and come from a VMWare background.
Description
Experience as a Migration Engineer (from Citrix to Horizon View/Omnissa).
Horizon View/Omnissa Engineer will be working in conjunction with the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Application Packaging Team(s).
Technical support activities include infrastructure, application, user migration, and device reclaims.
Experience required at the Hypervisor and OS level as the solution involves virtual apps (not desktops) and in building primary and replica pods with proper federation.
Skills
VMware Server Administration, Packaging Virtual Applications, Windows Server with Windows Analytics, VDI with Windows 10 or higher, Omnissa Products and Solutions, Python, PowerShell.

- Extensive experience with VMware, Virtualization, and VSphere
- VDI experience with Windows 10 or higher desired
- Windows Server experience with Windows Analytics
- Automation experience preferred (Python, Powershell) to enhance existing automatio
