Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Used Car Manager to oversee our pre-owned vehicle department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the used car sales process, from inventory management to customer service.
Duties:
- Manage the acquisition, pricing, and merchandising of pre-owned vehicles
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive used car sales
- Train, motivate, and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and procedures
- Monitor market trends to adjust pricing and inventory levels accordingly
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer concerns promptly
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Strong organizational abilities to manage inventory and sales processes efficiently
- Proven sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably in used car sales
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Familiarity with retail math calculations for pricing and profit margins
- Experience in outside sales and upselling techniques
- Proficiency in software applications related to inventory management and sales tracking
- Ability to engage in public speaking engagements on behalf of the dealership
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for effective customer interactions
