Chief of Staff, NSTC Investment Fund
Sunnyvale, CA
In this role you will support the strategic operations of Natcast's $500 million CHIPS Venture Fund, working directly with the Investment Partners to drive initiatives across early-stage semiconductor investments, corporate partnerships, and ecosystem development.
Every day you will manage complex priorities spanning investment operations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives while helping orchestrate the Fund's mission to catalyze semiconductor innovation through strategic capital deployment.
To thrive in this role you must combine investment acumen with exceptional organizational abilities, demonstrating both analytical precision and relationship management skills while supporting the advancement of America's semiconductor startup ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Manage strategic initiatives and special projects for the NSTC Investment Fund
Drive operational efficiency of the investment team and processes
Prepare materials for investment committee meetings and board presentations
Create and maintain investment analytics and portfolio tracking systems
Manage software platforms for deal sourcing, CRM, and industry tracking.
Coordinate processes across technical and financial due diligence
Develop comprehensive briefing materials for key stakeholder meetings
Coordinate investment pipeline development and deal flow management with investment team
Support relationship management with semiconductor startups and founders
Guide strategic planning and execution for the investment platform
Manage communication flows between investment team and broader organization
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
2 years experience in venture capital, investment banking, or management consulting
Experience with investment operations
Ability to learn semiconductor technology and industry dynamics
Excellence in financial analysis and modeling
Demonstrated project management capabilities
Superior written and verbal communication
Exceptional at managing executive-level relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Track record of managing complex initiatives
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
