Job Overview
This position is based in Parsippany, conveniently located in Northern New Jersey and near major highways. This position is expected to work in the office. The Business Analyst will support the business team by providing detailed sales analysis, product profitability assessments, bid management, pricing strategies, market share analysis, planning, and budgeting. The role also involves preparing monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and assisting in claims dispute resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Analysis
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed sales reports and presentations for senior management.
Product /Customer level Profitability
• Conduct profitability analysis for various products/customers.
• Provide recommendations to enhance product profitability.
Bid Management
• Manage and coordinate the bid process for new and existing contracts.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of bids.
Pricing
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
• Monitor competitor pricing and market conditions.
Market Share Analysis
• Analyze market share data to understand the company's position in the market.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve market share.
Planning and Budgeting
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
Monthly MIS Reporting
• Prepare and distribute monthly MIS reports to senior management.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
Claims Dispute Resolutions
• Support the commercial finance team in resolving claims and disputes.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
Wholesaler Inventory Monitoring 852
• Prepare and analyze channel inventory DOH and conduct periodic reviews with the commercial team to reduce the risk of slow-moving and expired returns inventory in the channel.
Inventory - Slow moving/write-off analysis
• Prepare and analyze on hand inventory to reduce the risk of slow moving and expired inventory.
Qualifications
• Experience in pharmaceutical finance/accounting required (minimum of 5 years).
• Familiarity with wholesaler chargeback & rebate experience is required.
• Experience working with wholesalers (e.g. Cardinal, McKesson, ABC) and customer portals is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required; CPA preferred.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and financial statements is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
