We are seeking dedicated and professional Overnight Security Guards to join our team. Immediate positions are available! As an Overnight Security Guard, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and protection of guests, staff, and property during overnight hours
- Patrol premises, monitor surveillance systems, and inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
- Authorize entry, respond to alarms, and provide assistance as needed
- Report irregularities, enforce policies, and handle trespassing incidents
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide direction as needed during nighttime hours
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain a log of overnight activities
- Coordinate with management and local authorities in case of emergencies
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards to protect the property’s reputation and maintain guest satisfaction
- Conduct regular checks on security equipment and coordinate any necessary repairs
Qualifications:
- Valid Security Officer Class D License (State of Florida)
- Valid FL Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills to manage reports and surveillance systems
- Must own a smartphone
- Able to pass a background check (no felony convictions)
- Previous security experience in hospitality or resort environments preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
