Job Summary
We are seeking an entrepreneurial-spirited editor with a passion for addiction awareness to manage and develop content for our Quarterly Aware-A-News Newsletter. This is a freelance, revenue-based venture, ideal for a dedicated individual who aligns with our mission.
Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and style (AP and Chicago Manual of Style).
- Conduct fact-checking and research to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with writers and contributors to create engaging, informative articles.
- Maintain deadlines and align content strategies with the editorial team.
- Utilize strong writing and editing skills to enhance the newsletter’s overall quality.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with addiction and recovery processes & terminology.
- Minimum of 3 years continuous sobriety (if in personal recovery).
- Passionate and knowledgeable about addiction awareness.
- Ability to commute to our Denver, PA office as needed.
- Fully alcohol-, drug-, and nicotine-free lifestyle.
Compensation
- Revenue-based model: Compensation will be explained during the interview process.
- Candidates must be financially stable to participate in this startup venture.
