Job Overview
Accountable to build and maintain strategic relationships with our strategic and core clients. This role will be responsible to engage with existing NAT clients and produce shared account plans, conduct periodic status and relationship meetings, facilitate strategic meetings, and serve as a firm level escalation point of contact. This role is responsible for delivering outstanding client experiences to the client firms in the NAT network in such a manner to generate additional trust referrals. This role requires an in-depth industry knowledge of best practices and procedures for maintaining trust and custody relationships with our clients. The relationship manager is also responsible for managing the development of account managers. This position will collaborate with multiple teams including Client Services, Operations, Legal, Finance, IT and Trust Administration. Overall, this role is a producer for growing and expanding existing firm relationships and is laser focused on delivering an outstanding client journey to key firms served by NAT.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain a deep knowledge of company products and services
- Meet with clients virtually or in person to discuss needs and requirements and propose suitable solutions
- Ensure that clients are onboarded effectively
- Identify trust and custody new business growth opportunities
- Shepherd trust opportunities into trust new business pipeline
- Account Plans and client call reports
- Resolve escalated issues in a timely efficient manner
- Resolve aging receivables greater than 90 days
- Train clients on NAT’s processes and how to effectively do business with NAT
- Contract management with current clients
- Contribute to company strategic goals by participating in team and/or special projects
- Demonstrate expertise in communication (verbal/electronic)
- Remain current on industry best practices and regulations
- Recognize and promote new process innovation as needed
- Ensure advisor firm relationships are retained and expanded
- Serve as an NAT ambassador at events
- Compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC-related laws and regulations as it applies within the scope of this position, including but not limited to, prompt completion of required BSA/AML/OFAC training.

Qualifications
- 7 years financial services experience with a focus on client management and operational processes
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
- FIS AddVantage platform knowledge or other equivalent
- Experience with working with any CRM system
- Ability to prioritize and focus on achievement of individual, team, and company goals
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
- Will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Requires travel up to 50%
- Occasionally requires lifting objects that are 20 pounds to a height of 3-4 feet
