We’re looking for a Public Relations & Media Manager to assist in the development of strategic communications plans, inspire a small team and be a point of contact for the Foundation.

Proven leadership ability . You’re no stranger to providing leadership and guidance at every level across an organization. You cultivate relationships internally and with the media and other influencers.
Experience. You’ve been writing, editing and producing CEO and Leadership communications for 5 years.
Developed roadmaps. You know what it takes to create a vision and roadmap for a PR team that aligns and supports organizational priorities.
Data-based strategies. You use data to adapt strategy and provide insights and thought leadership while focusing on proactive strategies to protect and advance reputation.
World-class communication talents. You don’t settle for less than delivering best-in-class, innovative, strategic public relations whether it’s to pitching media outlets or collaborating across project partners.
Crisis communications skills. You have managed sensitive issues and crisis communications across organizations and beyond, including partnership with external agencies.
***You Will:***
Inspire and grow others. This role will inspire and manage a small team. In addition, this role is the PR expert advising departments on comment, action and positioning.
Develop strategy. Alongside the Director of Marketing Communications, you will develop media and public relations strategies on an annual and day-to-day basis to achieve the Foundation’s goals with measurable outcomes.
Execute. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and pitch stories, create press releases, manage interviews across mediums and any task associated with the world of media and PR.
Maximize reputation. You’ll work across several channels, including media, reporters, web, blogs, and printed materials. Partnering across the organization and externally to pitch and leverage materials to educate, inform, and engage.
Collaborate with others. You will work with a broad range of team members and departments to drive positive visibility, raise awareness, and define the strategic plan.
Focus on the present and future. You will focus in the moment of what needs to be done while never letting us forget where we need to grow and anticipation of trends and opportunities.
