Responsibilities
- Production Management: Develop, implement, and refine marketing production processes to support NAIS programs, products, services, events, membership, and promotional initiatives. Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to ensure seamless execution across digital and print channels. Maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar that aligns all external communications, ensuring cohesion across initiatives. Manage project timelines, approvals, and tools to enhance efficiency, maintain consistency, and support cross-divisional marketing efforts.
- Project Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison across departments for print and digital marketing collateral production, overseeing intake, development, editorial reviews, design, printing, asset management, and distribution. Manage timelines, facilitate approvals, and ensure seamless execution from concept to final delivery.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the department’s production budget, track expenses, and reconcile costs. Manage relationships with external vendors, including print houses, designers, and agencies, overseeing bidding, procurement, and production to ensure high-quality, cost-effective marketing assets and collateral.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and synthesize marketing performance data, including campaign effectiveness, membership engagement, registration trends, and sales metrics. Create and distribute reports that inform strategy and drive decision-making.
- Brand Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all marketing materials adhere to organizational brand standards across print and digital.
- Team Collaboration & Support: Report to the Director of Marketing, contributing to strategic marketing plans, presentations, campaigns, and marketing initiatives as needed. Support the Director of Digital Marketing by updating web content within the CMS and ensuring digital consistency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 5 years of marketing production and project management experience, preferably in an association or nonprofit setting.
- PMP or project management certification is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Strong technical skills, proficient in CRM, CMS, and marketing operations tools and related software. Familiarity with marketing technology stacks and AI-driven marketing tools is a plus.
- Highly organized and adaptable, with strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and transition seamlessly between varying formats, audiences, and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, vendors, and stakeholders of diverse working styles.
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

- Physical Requirements: Minimal activity, long periods of sitting. Occasional lifting and moving of boxes (up to 30lbs) required as part of inventory management responsibilities.
