Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Rowe Sanctuary and the Iain Nicolson Audubon Center, ensuring alignment with National Audubon Society policies and procedures.
- Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and building management to secure favorable terms and services.
- Collaborate with the Center Director and national finance staff to develop and manage the office budget.
- Ensure compliance with Audubon policy and National Audubon Society regulations regarding contracts, grants, and financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including financial statements, gift processing, and donor acknowledgments.
- Serve as primary point of contact for visitors, donors, and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Manage facility rentals, coordinate logistics for events, and oversee the maintenance of facilities and grounds.
- Supervise staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of tasks and projects.
