Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Wildlife Conservation Manager to join our team as an Assistant Sanctuary Manager. This role will provide support to the Sanctuary Management Team with the implementation of multiple concurrent seabird studies at seven island field stations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing seabird studies and managing field crews;
- Maintaining field equipment and ensuring proper care of NAS-issued equipment;
- Coordinating with personnel from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife;
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, conservation biology, wildlife management, or a related field;
- Several years of experience in similar field research programs;
- Ability to work closely with program staff, cooperators, and volunteers;
