The Lead Teller role is responsible for the overall performance of their teller line. The Lead Teller will demonstrate leadership and personnel management skills by overseeing teller activities and monitoring the work performance of their teller staff. The job requires accuracy and good judgment under a variety of situations. The Lead Teller strengthens customer relationships and supports bank growth by recommending products and services to customers, and coaching tellers to do the same. Assures compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, the BSA/AML program.

Qualified candidates will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to three years bank teller experience preferred.
• One year supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, math skills, written and oral communication skills, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to problem solve and recognize when action is needed.
• Excellent time Management skills. Must be able to reprioritize workload as needed.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changes in processes and workflow
• Demonstrates great attention to detail.
• Uses sound judgment in decision making.
• Ability to work independently while supervising others.
• Ability to effectively train others by adapting to the learning style of the trainee.
• Required to have the ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds on occasion, and stand for long periods of time.
• Has access to reliable transportation

The pay range for this position is $19.40 to $29.00 per hour.
