To help facilitate our continued growth, we seek a dynamic marketing professional to help build the brand, establish a strong and scalable digital presence, and support our network of owner-operators.
As a member of the Challenger Group of companies, our mission is “Making Life Better”. The Director of Marketing is the champion of the NBG brand to both internal and external customers. The position oversees all aspects of marketing planning, development, and execution of all branding and marketing activities – from developing strategic initiatives and budgets to communicating and coordinating efforts with owner-operators. Ensuring that the NBG and its partners maintain a superior marketing advantage in their local housing markets is paramount.
This position will work with a network of builders across more than 8 states and provide exceptional support services in accordance with our mission and core values.
Position Reports to : President of the National Builder Group, LLC
Location : Colorado Springs, CO
Annual Base Salary : $120K-$150K (DOE)
Minimum :
- Proven work experience as a Director of Marketing or other marketing role with demonstrated progressive increases in responsibility.
- 3- 5 years in homebuilding and / or multi-unit marketing support required.
- Extensive working knowledge of brand development and execution.
- 5 years of digital marketing experience, including WordPress, SEO, web analytics, Google AdWords, PPC, etc.
- Demonstrable experience developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns, and research.

Leveraging the powerful legacy of the Challenger Group, the Director of Marketing will lead all efforts to establish and continually improve the company’s identity, market position, and reputation through superior marketing strategy and execution. This will enhance our recruiting efforts for new owner-operators and help drive new home sales throughout our builder network.
The Director role will be charged with focusing on two different marketing initiatives :
Supporting Owner-Operators with their local websites, digital marketing, new home marketing and advertising.Supporting the recruiting and onboarding of new owner-operators.This role focuses on building an effective sales funnel that builds awareness of the NBG brand and generates consistent leads through B2B channels to facilitate the consistent recruiting of high-quality owners.
Job Duties :
Establish and elevate the NBG as a recognized and respected brand offering exceptional value, quality, and service to the market.Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness, both consumer and B2B-facing.Execute new content marketing, collateral, and digital content aimed at creating demand and generating leads for potential owner-operators.Effectively communicate, create, and direct all marketing and strategic initiatives, marketing campaigns, and budgets to support the company’s overall goals, priorities, and objectives.Participate in the annual planning of the company’s marketing objectives.Ensure marketing projects are scoped, planned, and executed on time, on budget and within scope and quality.Identify and manage agency partners to execute marketing initiatives and projects.Manage the design, development and maintenance of all external websites using quality external partners. These will include a national consumer facing (home buyers) site, templates for individual building company sites, and a site for owner candidate recruitment. These will all be linked under the NBG website.Assist owners in the set-up and maintenance of their websites to ensure they align with NBG brand standards.Manage all digital marketing efforts, including social media, SEO, Google AdWords, etc.Assist all new owner-operators with the development of their local branding, including the name and logo.Establish and manage content marketing, including visual media.Manage and evaluate marketing analytics to drive new leads and further enhance the customer experience.Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the President.Develop and maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.Improve communications with owner-operators by providing ongoing marketing communications via e-newsletters and webinars, etc.Direct and support market research, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short and long-term forecasts and reports, as needed to support efforts.Develop and manage company public relations efforts to create awareness of our brand and growth plans.Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events.Oversee and manage NBG corporate events, including but not limited to venue selection, catering services, entertainment, awards, presentations, travel and hotel reservations, and transportation to and from the event.Other marketing-related activities as needed.Requirements :
