EFFECTIVE DATE : August 1, 2025
COMPENSATION : $69,626 - $109,376 per year

Position Summary
The ARS Director oversees and facilitates a comprehensive program for students with documented learning differences and the adults who support those students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Model the characteristics of a Lasallian Vincentian Catholic educator;
- Promote SHC’s mission, philosophy and Integral Student Outcomes;
- Coordinate academic accommodation services within the school community, with external professionals, and with families to ensure equitable access to learning;
- Supervise the ARP staff, including a Learning Specialist and Coordinator;
- Encourage students to become self-advocates who access support and request reasonable accommodations as necessary;
- Create Learning Plans for student academic success and communicate them with faculty and families.
This may include summer meetings;
Meet annually with students and families to review learning plan;
Create and regularly update resources for study skills via Schoology;
Determine accommodations offered for HSPT;

Certifications and / or Licensure
Credential in Special Education
Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree; Master's Degree preferred (in-progress acceptable)
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft software applications, Google Suite; databases (such as a learning management system) and internet usage.
