Atlassian Applications Administrator

Job Description Summary :

The Atlassian Applications Administrator is one of the primary points of contact for all things related to use of the Atlassian ecosystem within UCAR, including Data Center versions of Confluence, Crowd, Jira Software, and Jira Service Management, that are used both internally as well as with our external partners and collaborators. This position covers administration of these applications from the Virtual Machine / OS level through daily handling of tasks within the application including building out application functions necessary for different group needs throughout the organization.

This position responsible for installation, support, maintenance, auditing, development, security, and consultation for this complex system of applications, in addition to supporting future migration to the Atlassian Cloud platform. This position will serve as a liaison with users of all levels and would include some light project management duties to guide all the projects and project leads for the Atlassian applications and bring a consistent approach to all projects to aid in the user and administrative experience.
