Job Description: The Role As the leader of the Fidelity Charitable Experience Design Team, you are passionate about making charitable giving simple and effective. You will contribute to expanding Fidelity Charitable’s future growth by leading and managing a team of distributed UX associates to define and deliver end-to-end UX and product initiatives. You are responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing coaching of UX associates that deliver against a range of scope, time, complexity, and platforms in different lifecycles. You will dig into challenging, ambiguous, human-centered problems that you might not immediately associate with charitable giving to guide and align the team across multiple product lines. The Expertise and Skills You Bring · Master’s degree AND/OR 5-10 years of experience in UX Management focused on team management, talent alignment, training, and coaching · Documented experience in managing UX Delivery including talent/project coordination, strong skills in user-centered design & development methods, and mentoring · Ability to navigate a complex organization and manage stakeholder relationships to foster Collaboration · Synthesis -> process expertise—ability to guide UX associates to get to the “why”, “how”, & actionable insights, through establishing best practices and key frameworks so the whole team can move forward · Documented experience and ability to lead a multidisciplinary team through the design process in an agile environment - guiding the team through ideation, concept development, testing, iteration, and agile development team alignment · Excellent communication skills and understanding that at the core of a strong team is trust, adaptability, resilience, and purpose · A digital portfolio we can review online is required The Team The Fidelity Charitable Experience Design team is an established group which partners with business stakeholders across multiple giving experiences, user bases, and other business units across Fidelity.
