National Choice Bakery is a leader in producing high quality bagels. We are seeking hard working candidates to join our team!
Our current Mix Operator openings:
- 3rd shift 9:00 pm - 5:30 am
Mix Operator Job Requirements:
- Ability to stand for 8 hours.
- Learns to operate mixer equipment.
- Sets controls for machinery according to specifications of product to be produced.
- Understands and complies with food safety requirements.
- Works and operates machinery safely.
- Ensures documents are correctly completed for any operation performed.
- Understands requirements from production and quality.
- Communicates with other team members, supervisor, quality, safety and sanitation staff.
- Cooperation with maintenance to keeping machines performing to expectation.
- Attends meetings on production, safety, quality when needed.
- Reports to work in approved clothing and footwear.
- Flexible in supporting production scheduling.
- Understands diversity and team work.
- Able to lift 25 pounds continuously.
- Other duties as assigned by leads and/or members of Management.
Mix Operator skills required:
- Reasonable ability to communicate in English.
- Read, write effectively to record data on sheets per standard operating procedures.
- Basic math skills to monitor machine settings to expected performance and makes corrections when needed.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail to maintain a clean and sanitized work environment including tools, machines and all production surfaces.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
