Position Summary: Responsible for the job and machine set up and production of the 3-Axis Routing Department.
Essential Functions:
- CNC programming
- Read engineering drawings
- 3-Axis router programming
- Operate 3 Axis Routers
- 3-Axis Group Lead Responsibilities for Production
- Responsible for Production and Prototype parts
- Produce production tooling
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- AutoCAD or similar
- Set up on vertical CNC milling, lathe, horizontal milling machine or CNC Router
- Computer Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative and self-motivated with strong ability to follow instructions as well as improvise when required.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing department needs
Required experience:
- Set up on vertical CNC milling, lathe, horizontal milling machine or CNC Router
- Manufacturing experience
Working Conditions:
- Factory environment
- Fast paced
- Time divided between programming at a computer and machine operating
- General work hours of 7AM - 3:30 PM, M-F
- English and Spanish speaking facility -- Must be comfortable with dual language environment
