Low Voltage Cabling Project Manager

NDG's Project Manager will be responsible for managing small and large low voltage infrastructure, security and/or small AV projects. The ideal candidate will have previous project management experience of at least 5 years and have a thorough working knowledge of reading RFP'S, blueprints, specifications, contractual language, pricing and project scheduling. Other duties and requirements include:

• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly develop SOWs and material lists
• Work efficiently with vendors and construction industry professionals
• Thorough knowledge of copper, coaxial and fiber installations
• Ensures the quality of workmanship, safety and documentation per project.
• If required, initiates disciplinary action for those employees working under him or her.
• Identifying and initiating work-around procedures in maintaining crew productivity during delays.
• Ability to effectively manage a project of at least 10 craft personnel with little or no direction.
• Responsible for the development of detailed status reports containing financial results, physical progress, productivity schedule and other issues, changes in scope etc. for projects under his/her responsibility
• Ability to work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance. Provides documentation, reports, and information to operations as directed.
• Initiates and monitors installation standards, and technical and supervisory training (OJT) sessions for technicians and junior crewmembers.
• Furthers oneself through ongoing education and certifications including but not limited to corporate or specialty courses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
