What You Will Do
As an IT Project and Support Intern, you will:
Technical Support:

- Assist in managing the technical support ticketing system, ensuring timely and efficient responses to requests.
- Provide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions and create user-friendly guides for common issues.
- Escalate more complex problems to senior IT staff while providing clear documentation.
- Help set up, configure, and deploy IT equipment, such as laptops and software tools.
Project Coordination:

- Collaborate with the IT team to plan, execute, and monitor ongoing IT projects.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing project documentation, and tracking progress.
- Communicate updates to stakeholders and help ensure project deadlines are met.
- Support the implementation and testing of new technologies to improve IT systems.
Who You Are
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration (with an IT focus), or a related field.
Technically Skilled:

- Have a basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
- Experience with support tools like ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow) and remote support platforms is a plus.
- Exposure to tools like Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and project management software (e.g., Jira, Monday.com, or Asana).
Organized and Detail-Oriented:

- Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
Great Communicator and Problem Solver:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Analytical thinkers with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Passionate and Eager to Learn:

- Eager to learn about IT operations, technical support, and project management.Interested in working in a mission-driven environment that values equity and worker rights.
- Certifications like ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A , or Agile basics are a bonus but not required.
