What you’ll be doing:

El Car Wash is strengthening its maintenance and installation team! We are the fastest growing car wash company in Florida and searching for someone with lots of experience using hand tools on mechanical equipment. Candidates must have knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems. Ideal candidates should have an inquisitive mind and love learning how things work. Candidates should enjoy variety in the workplace as every day presents new repair opportunities. We are also looking for somebody who is creative and loves helping improve systems and processes to deliver a better and more consistent end-product to our customers. Must be excellent at working task lists to completion alone or as part of a team. We are also looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in electrical troubleshooting and repair with devices such as 3-phase motors, relays, PLC’s, and VFD’s. We will provide job-specific training in the field.
A day in your life might include…
- Assist with new car wash installations and site launches
- Complete work orders, weekly timesheets, and repair logs
- Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Train staff in the operation, preventative maintenance, and repair of car wash equipment. Assist in developing and improving maintenance program.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and team player
- Ability to produce high-quality work consistently with pride in final product
- 1 years of experience in the car wash industry or similar mechanical field
- Strong familiarity with high and low voltage in industrial applications. Able to read electrical schematics.
- Welding experience is a plus
- Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems
- The strong internal drive to push projects to completion
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment
- Ability to multitask and triage
- Strong troubleshooting skills, high level of attention to detail, and high level of pride in the quality of own work.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and digitally. Preferably speak Spanish and English
- Comfortable with basic computer programs and mobile applications
- Good driving record
