Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Sales Manager to oversee and grow business within the NC, TN, SC, and VA region. This role involves managing a sales territory, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong territory management skills, and the ability to market specialized services effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers, including facility directors in healthcare and higher education industries, and general contractors in new construction projects.
- Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Market and promote NFS’s services through presentations, networking, and other business development efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions for client needs.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regional market dynamics.
- Represent NFS at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or territory management (experience in the firestopping, construction, or related industry is a plus).
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM, construction software tools and marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Monday.com, Procore).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Familiarity with firestopping, fire protection, rated barriers, or similar industry services (preferred).
