What you'll do:
The Vendor Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring staff's technology needs are met and vendors are effectively managed. Specifically, your main responsibilities will include:
- Organizing vendor processes to support IT spending in several areas (e.g., telecom, hardware, software, computer services and consulting).
- Tracking past and proposed spending to ensure consistency with financial objectives.
- Selecting vendors and negotiating terms to optimize both service levels and costs.
- Reviewing and tracking vendor contracts, purchase orders and invoices.
- Confirming that contracts are reviewed and security vetting is completed by appropriate staff during onboarding process.
- Managing contract renewals, term extensions, warranty tracking and vendor cancellations.
- Addressing IT vendor challenges and improving practices.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, supply chain, finance, information systems, business or related field
- Familiarity with creating and refining IT vendor management processes
- A minimum of five years in IT vendor management or procurement experience

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Salary range: $88,400 - $147, 400
