JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager will work under the direction of the Senior Advisor of Client Services and Business Development to support project delivery and execution. This position involves managing internal and external projects, including contracts with community-based organizations, government agencies, and health plans that support initiatives for vulnerable populations. Part of this position will also involve curating new business opportunities for NHHA and its subsidiary partners along with supporting NHHA’s Senior Advisors on current contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage projects, including project scheduling, project tracking, and project communication.
- Facilitate internal and external meetings on behalf of NHHA with internal advisors, subcontractors and clients.
- Utilize strong project management skills including developing and managing project plans, including timelines and budgets.
- Support of program budgets, forecasting expenses, and allocating resources appropriately, while ensuring financial compliance.
- Help manage project risks and issues, including monitoring project progress and identifying potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders while managing stakeholder expectations and addressing concerns.
- Manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Support Business Development in building strong relationships with government agencies, community-based organizations, health care providers, and housing partners to enhance program effectiveness and expand services.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the organizational process.
- Support the NHHA team and other service lines as needed.
- Attend all required meetings and be an active participant.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Experience in homeless issues and program development within the housing and health care sectors.
- Exceptional project management abilities, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in budget management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel and other project management software.
- Proficiency in online video platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Understanding of project management methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for healthcare and housing industry.

OTHER DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Asana
- Familiarity with CalAIM and/or Medicaid.
- Project Management certification
- Masters in Public Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, or similar field.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
